91¶ÌÊÓÆµ awarded approximately $8.4 million in scholarships and grants to our students for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Submit your completed admissions application by the priority deadline, and you will automatically be considered for 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Merit Scholarships for new students.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
High school students' submitted academic credentials will be evaluated to determine eligibility.
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
Awards of $6,000-$12,000 based on H.S. academic credentials. Renewable based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.
PROCEDURES
Academic credentials are evaluated upon acceptance to 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
Transfer students with at least 15 approved transfer credits.
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
Awards of $3,000-$10,000 based on college GPA. Renewable based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Transcripts are evaluated upon acceptance to 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ.

AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
Awards of up to $14,000 for bachelor students and up to $10,000 per year for master's students. Renewable based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
A student who entered the College as a first-year, first-semester student and is now entering their senior year, beginning the Fall semester. Based on merit and exceptional academic credentials (GPA of 3.50 or above).
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
One full-tuition scholarship to a student entering their senior year.
PROCEDURES
Final candidates will be interviewed by the President of the College. Application by invitation only.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
Siblings who are concurrently enrolled at 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ or a student who has a sibling who previously attended 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ and graduated.
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
25% of tuition charges, not to exceed the full cost of tuition in conjunction with all other tuition-specific awards. This award is only available to matriculated undergraduate students enrolled either full-time or part-time and who maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
PROCEDURES
Complete the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Sibling Award Application in the Office of Student Financial Services to establish eligibility by no later than the eighth week of the semester.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
Incoming graduates of a two-year college with an associate degree.
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
Awards up to $4,000-$11,000 per year based on previous college GPA at the time of 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ acceptance. Renewable based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.

A full tuition scholarship each year for a graduate of Suffolk Community College
Awards of up to $11,000 for graduates of Borough of Manhattan Community College.
Awards of up to $11,000 for graduates of Brookdale Community College.
Awards of up to $11,000 for graduates of Westchester Community College.
Awards of $1,500-$6,000 per year are conferred and students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. A student must enroll in a minimum of six credits for up to three semesters. Based on availability. Incoming graduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 will be evaluated on a first- come, first-served basis. Please note that additional application materials will be considered prior to awarding the scholarship. Academic criteria are evaluated during the admissions application review process.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
Incoming community college graduates who have earned an associate degree. Based on merit, exceptional academic credentials (minimum cumulative college GPA of 3.30 for consideration), and need.
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
Highly competitive selection. Limited number of renewable awards of half tuition for eligible students. Renewable based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.
PROCEDURES
A select group of students will be nominated by the Office of Admissions for consideration. FAFSA required.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
Incoming graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) with an associate degree. Based on merit, exceptional academic credentials (GPA of 3.30 or higher) and need.
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
One renewable award of half tuition. Renewable based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.
PROCEDURES
A select group of students will be nominated by the Office of Admissions for consideration. FAFSA required.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION
Incoming undergraduate and a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
AMOUNT PER YEAR AND RESPONSIBILITY
$1,000 per year. Renewable based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress.
PROCEDURES
Provide proof of membership in Phi Theta Kappa.
Foundation Scholarships Foundation Scholarships
Founded in 1977, the has, as its primary purpose, the provision of scholarships and educational enhancements in support of students who wish to attend 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ. A 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, the Foundation is separate and distinct entity from 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ with it’s own Board of Directors that has awarded over $2 million in scholarships to talented and deserving 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ students since it’s inception.
Continuing 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ full-time undergraduate students (both on-campus and online division) who have been enrolled for at least one semester are eligible to apply each spring term for the upcoming academic year. The 91¶ÌÊÓÆµFEF Scholarship Application requires a 350-word essay, response to short answer Q’s, two letters of recommendation, and submission of a FAFSA to 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ (for need-based scholarships only). The online application also requires that students authorize the release of academic information (GPA and academic standing) and FAFSA data (if applicable) from 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ to the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµFEF.

Grants Grants
Students who submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the priority deadline are considered for need-based 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Grant-in-Aid awards up to $4,000 if they meet the appropriate eligibility criteria, pending funds availability.
College and university instructors who currently teach fashion-related courses and have professional experience in the fashion industry – and do not already have a graduate degree – are invited to apply for our Fashion Educators Grant.
Grants cover 50% of the cost of tuition in any of 91¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s 30-credit, one-year master's degree programs.
You may enroll on either a full- or part-time basis and can complete your program on campus or online.
Grant applicants must provide proof of full- or part-time employment as a faculty member in a fashion-related discipline at a community, junior, or four-year college.
Grant applicants must first apply to the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ master's degree program of their choice, then complete a .
